Your businesses website gives a strong first impression to prospective clients... it can make your small business appear much larger than it really is, or make your well established business seem amateurish. Our design style centers around simplicity. A website that's easy to read, easy to navigate, and quick to load is imperative in catching (and keeping) a consumers attention.
For that reason we avoid uneccessary animations and graphics, and lean instead towards simple graphics that focus your attention on the content of the site. That's not to say that graphics are bad, we just try not to go overboard. If you prefer a tastefully done graphic rich site we will certainly accomodate that as well, as some sites and businesses require more than others.
We will meet with you, in person if possible, and find out what you want your site to be. Every site has a purpose, maybe you need to sell your product, or you need a place for your customers to find out current events. In the initial meeting we'll work out the purpose of your site and the general design ideas you may have - colors, scheme, an existing logo or images you want used.
After a design concept has been decided on, you'll give us the written content and any images you want on your page. This can be done either in person, through email, fax, or regular mail. We will then use your content to design and build the site and help you place it on the internet. If you want images on your site but don't have any in mind we can find or design graphics for you. We offer logo design, either included in your web design package, or independently. The logo design process is similar to the website process, there will be an initial meeting to determine your design concept, business colors or existing imagery, etc. Logo design pricing is available on the pricing page, for custom graphics email us for a quote.
Domain Name Registration
A doman name is the web address that is specifically assigned to your web page, for instance, the domain name of this site is "LicentiaDesigns.com". Domain names are purchased for terms of a few months, a year, or several years. At the end of the term your domain name comes up for renewal and you pay for another term if you choose to keep it. We will register your domain name for you through GoDaddy.com.
